Not Just A Cadbury Ad

 In 2020 the covid-19 spread all over the world and cause a pandemic and the world was in total lockdown for more than a year.

a lot of businesses were affected by the pandemic and the lockdown, large businesses were likely to overcome the financial crisis step by step and some of them made a huge profit due to lockdown and that depends on their field.

but small businesses and local retailers were affected and wasn't easy for them to overcome the financial crisis caused by this pandemic.

In India, a lot of local retailers couldn't gain any profit from their business which is the main source of income for them and many of them started to stop their business.

Also, most of them don't have the luxury to set marketing campaigns in order to promote their products in their country, and as a result of lockdown, there wasn't any kind of tourism so they were only relying on Indians to buy from them.

What did Cadbury do with its social responsibility to face this crisis? They took the initiative of trying to help these local retailers with an amazing idea, they started collecting their data with the help of Facebook and Youtube to reach a large number of audiences.

They got the famous Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan to perform in this ad. They used AI technology to create the actor’s face and voice to take the local store names in the ad.

The ad detects the location of the viewer and accordingly presents the ad to the local retailers around the viewer.

This was very helpful for the local retailers in India, as they got a free marketing campaign for their products which was a save for them.
